ree

Eating healthier is not always easy. And trust, healthy eating does not come in a one-size-fits-all package either. You have to assess where you are and your goals. In addition, planning and routine are going to help you tremendously.

You will also need to find the motivation and time to cook, or find a culinary health focused chef to create your meals. But all of this doesn't have to be a daunting out of reach task. A good strategy will have to be put in place to execute, which is going to require some prep work to get you started.

These 5 easy steps (prep work) are simple enough to commit to memory and realistic enough to maintain daily! Let's start eating healthier and lose weight in a healthy way.

The following are some healthy eating tips that can help you maintain a healthy weight.

  1. Eat the Rainbow: Including vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and lean proteins into your daily consumption.

  2. Drink plenty of Water: Ideally make your goal a gallon a day, throughout the day.

  3. Limit Sugar and Salt: 2200 mg of sodium max, 30 grams (~7 teaspoons) max.

  4. Exercise regularly: 15-30 minutes daily is ideal.

  5. Get enough Sleep every night: Ideally 7-9 hours with your body's peak cell rejuvenation beginning around 11-12 midnight.

BONUS: Consistency wins the race every time! Create your healthy eating routine from these 5 steps and watch how healthier eating not only benefits you from head to toe, but will also put these healthy eating habits on auto-pilot to navigate your healthy journey!
