RECIPE POST: Purple Rain Smoothie

The deep purple hue is accomplished with the wild blueberries that are the star feature of this smoothie. Walmart has a bag of these tiny frozen gems at the peak of freshness. Add fresh pineapple juice and a cup or so of fresh spinach and you have an immune boosting, anti-inflammatory, cancer-fighting, multi-vitamin!


PURPLE RAIN IMMUNE SMOOTHIE

  • 2 cups frozen wild blueberries

  • 2 cups fresh spinach

  • 1 cup fresh pineapple juice, not from concentrate

  • 1 cup ice

  • 1 tbsp raw honey or agave

Blend until smooth and enjoy!
