AC Art of Food, LLC was founded in 2003 by owner and culinary creator, Adrienne 'AC' Price. Initially a private caterer turned personal chef, AC started her cooking journey when she was knee-high to her mother and grandmothers watching them pour love and joy into the pots and pans they mastered in creating delicious bowls and platefuls of comfort. Today, AC has re-focused her company as a culinary resource with ideas and tips to assist clients in culinary health planning, cooking classes, a healthy online store, MaymeJax Gourmet Boutique, and an overall healthier lifestyle of eating.
It was no wonder that at the tender age of six, AC received the entrepreneurial ‘bug’ and sold her very first Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheerio Ball neatly packaged in a sandwich bag to the neighborhood kids for the affordable price of $.25 each. She sold out her first day. Next came the 5th grade 4H Recipe Contest where she took home first place bragging rights (not to mention a cool turquoise 4H t-shirt) for her sensational Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Milkshake recipe (still made to this day). As she got older, whipping up fun sandwiches, easy and quick casseroles, and healthy treats became second nature and developed in her a stronger passion and drive to make good food for good people. In 2007, AC formed the LLC 'AC Art of Food' in Atlanta, Georgia where she was caterer to several of the elite in the city's Midtown and surrounding metro areas. She was also selected in 2008 as the featured culinary artist at the Georgia State University- Rialto Center for the Arts, Theatrical Outfit in downtown Atlanta where Atlanta's own Monica Kaufman Pearson and the star of the highly-rated TNT show 'Monk', Tony Shalhoub, were hosts of the event. In between catering appointments is where she began her personal chef venture serving busy clients in the Atlanta, Georgia and Cincinnati, Ohio areas.
When AC became pregnant with her first child, she decided to hang up her apron and devout her time and energy in the nurturing of her son, Aidon. After separating with her company in 2009, AC released a self-published cookbook entitled 'For My Girls' which paid homage to her best girlfriends compiled of their favorite dishes she would often prepare for them. Ironically, it would be after the birth of her daughter, Logan, when she would decide to return to the culinary world, but this time in a role where she would give back and help people more. Although she is no longer cooking for clients under her parent company AC ART of Food, LLC, AC re-launched the company in 2016 as a culinary health resource where individuals can find tasty tips and ideas, recipes, a healthy online gourmet store MaymeJax Gourmet Boutique, and her abstract taste of food perspective on the TastyBlog. In that same year, she revealed 'A Cart of Food, Grocery Concierge', a grocery shopping service where she knew her skill, experience, and passion for food would create a more personalized approach in selecting the best ingredients for her clients to create their own delicious meals. This is also Adrienne's way of helping those in need such as busy individuals and families, along with our beloved elderly who at times may find it too time consuming and somewhat cumbersome to shop for themselves. Ultimately, this service has proven to be the best thing since sliced bread for those that just frankly, do not like grocery shopping! The icing on the cake is that not only are the groceries transported in eco-friendly reusable bags, but a portion of all revenue from A Cart of Food, Grocery Concierge goes to charitable foundations fighting to eliminate hunger. Now that's how you deliver, A Cart of Food!
